ART ONLINE STUDENT PORTFOLIOS
PURPOSE: Students who are in grades 9-12 are required to create an online portfolio. Students will continue adding to their portfolio as they continue to take art classes. The online portfolio shows completed works as well as mastery of composition, craftsmanship, technical skill, achieving goals, art history presentation, research, and their creative process.
This project is worth 25% of your Final Grade
DUE: 1/2 completed by DEC 2020 (Semester Exam)
DUE: Fully completed by MAY 2021 (Final Exam)
MATERIALS: - One computer per student - One camera per student (can be from smartphones) -
WEBSITE: You can use these two website builders or find another one of your choice. Once your website is created you need to link your website to the "Master Web Link" so that the teacher can have access to your site. Feel free to look at other students websites to generate idea for your own site.

Step 1: Choose a platform: Weebly, Wix, or another site. (Most students use Weebly). Set up an account. This should be free.
Step 2: Set up your website and choose a theme for example 'art portfolio'.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ONLINE PORTFOLIO
Each topic below is a page in your portfolio. The homepage is the navigation page. The artist bio is on its own page, the gallery is on its own page, etc.. As you take more and more art classes you will add to your existing portfolio. Scroll down and click on what each page looks like.
