The reason you are doing the "scrambled" grid method is to train your eye to see only what's inside each square, without your brain directing you what to draw. Learn to rely strictly on your eyes. Click on an image that you like and draw the put together the 'scrambled' image on the grid.
HOW TO USE THE GRID SYSTEM
GRID YOUR OWN PAPER: Important: use very, very, very fine lines.
ASSIGNMENT 2: GRID YOUR OWN IMAGES:
Find a simple image (coloring book image) on Google images with little or no shading and upload it into the following website (click the image below)
Add a grid around your image that is at least 4-6 boxes across and 4-6 boxes down.
Print out two copies and bring it to the next class period.
If you don't have a printer email your grid image to Mr. Hobbs and he will print it out for you
