Part 1: Group Presentation of Research Directions: The teacher will assign you a group of two.
Have one person in the group create a Google Slide and shares it with everybody in the group.
Invite everybody to edit it in your group.
Title the presentation your name/MLK.
Have one person share it with Mr. Hobbs.
On the first slide copy and paste your Group Question.
In the next 5 slides answer the question the best you can using at least 3 different resources, images and/or videos. Be creative in how you answer it.
Slide 6 in your resource page. Include all URL's of your resources on that page.
Your slide should also include transitions, color, and be visually appearing.
When presenting your question make sure that everybody contributes equally. Speak loud and clear.
GROUP QUESTIONS TO ANSWER
Group 1: Define Freedom? What does Freedom mean to you? Do they think all Americans are truly free? Why or why not?
Group 2: What do we mean by the term "civil rights"? How was Martin Luther King similar to other 'civil rights' leaders of the day? How was he different?
Group 3: Who was Martin Luther King, Jr? (Brief Biography; Early years, Mid year, and Death).
Group 4: What sort of discriminations did Dr. King fight against? Explain how discrimination and prejudice impact out world today.
Group 5: What was the March on Washington? (Who, What, When, Where, Why). What was the purpose?
Group 6: Choose three parts from Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech and explain the importance of it today?
Group 7: What parts of Dr. King's dream have or have not been realized in the present day? Examples?
Group 8: How does racism effect people? How does it effect you? Our school? Our community?
Group 9: In your opinion, what was the greatest challenge King faced in his life? Why did you pick this challenge?
Each student will be assigned part of the artwork to complete. The easiest way to accomplish this is to have all the students assemble the portrait at the same time. Student can scavenge missing domino pieces from other groups. (Note: each section does NOT use one box of dominos. They use multiple sets). Each section will be moved to a cork board for a temporary assembly. Push pins will hold the pieces into place. Once assembled the piece will be moved and glued on the plywood wood. Later on a boarder will be added to make it look more professional.

PART III: QR CODES
Each partnership is required to create a video and a QR code about their presentation. If other words once you shared your information with the class you will be expected to record it and generate a QR code. These QR codes will be added around the artwork so viewers can learn more about MLK.
