MR. HOBBS'S ENVELOPE STUDENT EXAMPLE:

Lesson: Decorate your envelope with simple lines, patterns, images and objects. Make it unique!!! Be creative.!!
Directions:
Step 1: Draw your first name in the middle, side, top, or bottom of your envelope. You can use any font that you wish. It might be a good idea to look at your alphabet letters worksheet. Your name needs to be on your envelop somewhere but you need to determine the size.
Step 2: Add a boarder around your name. This will make it pop from the background.
Step 3: Fill the background with different images, patterns and line designs. Use the worksheet for help. Fill in as much space as you can. Avoid large empty spaces. You can also trace images if you want.
Step 4: Use sharpie and outline your name and designs.
Step 5: Add color if you want for extra points.
